Along with the 14 arrests made in the Paypal case, two others were arrested in New Jersey and Florida on similar charges. And, in cooperation with a global investigation five more were arrested in Europe for their part in cyberattacks against organizations and major companies.

The indictment was unsealed in a federal court in San Jose, California. The arrests covered ten states and the alleged hackers ranged from 20 to 42 in age.
